WCHC’s Vol III, pg 135: Per Laverne Faubion & Stanley Green 1986…”Mrs. E.C. & M.B. Middleton are buried near Smith Branch in SE Georgetown, in Quail Valley area – a developing subdivision. Graves in a grove of small trees & underbrush. Field stones in area may have marked other graves.” Also noted in 1987, “this was determined to be a part of the Williamson County Paupers’ Cemetery, most of which has been displaced by a housing development.”
Per John Christeson at Find-A-Grave, “to get to this cemetery from Georgetown take SH 29 E to the intersection with Maple St. Turn S on Maple & take it to the intersection with Quail Valley Dr. Turn left (E) on Quail Valley Dr & take it to intersection with Smith Branch Blvd. Turn right (S) on Smith Branch Blvd & take it to the end. Cemetery is in the field behind the barricade & reportedly to the E behind the fence of about the fourth house. No inscribed gravestones were seen & if there are any, they may be somewhere in the field that had grass three feet high.”
