Notes:

Estimated location near CR 241 (aka Sunset Lane) & CR 245.

WCHC’s Vol III, pg 389 by Lester Fisher…”Forehand Homeplace (now Dale place) [Dale H & Dora L Place]: Three graves: Richland Forehand, Blake Forehand, and one other.”

NOTE: There is a gravestone for Blake Barefield Forehand (1810-1871) buried at Matsler Cemetery on CR 245 per Find-A-Grave but does not mention a Richland Forehand being buried there.  Blake Forehand’s original headstone is shown in the picture above broken in half next to a “new” headstone made for him.  Is it possible the broken headstone was found near Matsler Cemetery and moved to the Matsler Cemetery? Or is it possible the Forehand’s were buried at the location of the ‘future’ Matsler Cemetery and the cemetery developed around the Forehand’s burials?

In deed document 19769994DR the survey gives the location of a 1.19 acre cemetery.  Per WCAD R327082, Matsler Cemetery is 1.942 acres.  In July 1980, Dale Place lived at Rt 1 Box 108, Florence, TX.

Need to research the survey to see if can pinpoint where the 1.19 acre cemetery is located; and post office to find where Rt 1 Box 108 in Florence was located.

Coordinates are centroid of C H Delaney Survey Abstract A-181 where Dale Place owned property.
