WCHC’s Vol III, pg 137-138:  Per Laverne Faubion & Paul Brockman, 503 Bayview Dr, Seabrook, TX, 1980 to 1984…”Located about 10 miles NW of Georgetown, off SH 195, on private road to the N, near Smalley Creek. [Also]…Located 4.9 mi S of Florence on Hwy 195, then east 0.1 mi on dirt road.”

Find-A-Grave:  Coordinates at gate:  30.783675 -97.760795.  The Mullen Cemetery is located on the property of The Place ranch, 8592 State Highway 195, about 4.9 miles east of Florence, Texas, on the north side of the road. The cemetery is at the NE corner of the large pasture just to the east of the The Place ranch entrance. It is between the highway and a grove of trees bordering the creek bed about a tenth of a mile along the fence between The Place and the next property to the east.

In 2018, this cemetery is maintained by the “Cemetery Restoration Volunteers” as one of the abandoned cemeteries maintained on a rotation basis of 19 cemeteries in Williamson County.  The volunteers are under the direction of WCHC’s Cemetery Committee Chair, Joe Plunkett.  In 2019, there are 9 volunteers, using their own equipment.  Donations received by WCHC help to defray costs of restoring tombstones.
