CR 123, Hutto.

From SH 79 in Round Rock turn south on CR 122 (Red Bud Lane) and turn east on CR 123. Continue past the junction with Twin Ridge Parkway and to the end of that community. At the second road to the south look for a house by the road and three mailboxes; 4271, 2227 & 4215. Turn south on this road to the second house on your left which is the farm of Hazel and her son Gary Schroeder. From their yard you can see the Oxley Cemetery sign across the field. Ask for permission to go to the cemetery on their property. They are nice people and Gary took me to the cemetery on his four wheeler.

On March 24, 2013, H. Martin Soward, III (great great great grandson of Enoch and Elizabeth Oxley) reported that his family built the fence around the cemetery in 2009 and began restoring gravestones. They have been back several times to cut down weeds and work some more on the gravestones. Originally the gravestone for Elizabeth (Smalley) Oxley was in four pieces. “We very carefully put them back together and used a strong glue to repair the cracks. We have also put up a new marker for her husband Enoch Oxley and set it next to his original stone. If you look at my comments on the site you will see the names of my family members who participated in these efforts.” ([email protected])  Source:  John Christeson on Find-A-Grave
