FROM THC ATLAS: “Driving Directions: From US 79 in Hutto, go 4.3 mile south-east on FM 1660 S. Turn left onto unnamed farm road and go 1.6 miles north-east-north. When road ends near dilapidated barn and stock tank (on left side of road), walk approx. 0.28 mile (1,473 ft.) north following the fence row on the right. Lone grave marker is located in cultivated field. This gravesite is highly endangered. It is a map feature, but is located in a very remote area on private property. The grave is not fenced and is threatened by encroaching cultivation. When this survey was conducted, the gravesite was completely surrounded by planted corn. The single marker inscription reads: Hier Ruht Louis Friedericke Pundt Geb.11, Nov. 1891 Gest.15, Sept. 1892 The USGS topographic map indicates multiple graves at this location. However, only one marked grave was observed.”
