The “Cemetery Restoration Volunteers” (CRV) maintain on a rotation basis about 20 neglected cemeteries in Williamson County.
The volunteers are under the direction of WCHC’s Cemetery Committee Chair, Joe Plunkett. In 2020, there are 13 volunteers using their own equipment to mow grass, remove overgrown vegetation, and repair & level headstones. Donations received by WCHC are helping to defray the costs of restoring tombstones.
Williamson County is extremely fortunate to have these volunteers sharing their expertise in cleaning & repairing tombstones as well as maintaining the cemeteries.
